Sony Xperia 1 Mark 4 officially now
On the afternoon of May 11, Sony held a new product launch conference where they officially unveiled their new flagship Xperia 1 IV (Xperia 1 Mark 4) with a continuous optical zoom lens.
The front of the device adopts a 6.5-inch HDR OLED screen with 3840×1644p resolution, 21:9 aspect ratio, 50% increase in screen brightness, hole-free front design, support for 120Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz touch sampling rate, as well as dynamic anti-blur technology, which is also a rare 4K resolution screen in the mobile phone industry.

In the rear triple camera and lens, all three lenses are 12MP, including 1/1.7″ main camera with OIS + 1/2.5″ ultra-wide angle lens with autofocus + 1/3.5″ telephoto lens with OIS ( 85–125 mm). equivalent optical zoom). All three lenses are provided by Zeiss and are T* coated, plus a ToF lens.

The Sony Xperia 1 Mark 4 telephoto lens is a new Sony lens with continuous optical zoom. The continuous optical zoom range is from 85mm to 125mm, which is 3.5 to 5 times the optical zoom range. On the other hand, the Xperia 1 Mark 3 only has two focal lengths, 70mm and 105mm.

All three lenses can shoot 4K video at 120 fps, support real-time eye focusing, FlawlessEye, real-time object tracking, etc. The RGB IR sensor on the back feeds the AI algorithm that controls the white balance of the camera.

The front lens of the Xperia 1 Mark 4 has also been upgraded from 8MP to a new 12MP 1/2.9″ ExmorRS sensor supporting 4K video and HDR video at 30fps. Unfortunately, the front lens does not support autofocus.
The main processor is Snapdragon 8 Gen1 which is complemented by Adreno 730 GPU equipped with 12GB + 512GB memory combination and support for up to 1TB SD card expansion.
The battery capacity is 5000 mAh, it supports 30W fast charging, which can charge up to 50% in half an hour, and fast wireless charging, no charging head and data cable are included.
