Modders are slowly but surely beginning to understand how to make changes to Halo Infinite. The latest mod to make headlines completely changes the gameplay, allowing you to watch the Master Chief and Zeta Halo from a third person.
From the very beginning, Halo has been a first-person shooter franchise, while other Microsoft titles such as Gears have dealt with third-person shooters. A modder called “Halo Opulant” has changed this by adding a new mod that offers a third-person camera option in Halo Infinite.
The mod works with all the weapons you can find throughout the campaign, meaning the full game can be played from start to finish in third person.
Instead of using the Nexus, this particular mod was uploaded to Halo Customs , which also hosts a number of custom maps for other Halo games available in the Master Chief collection.
KitGuru Comment: Halo looks surprisingly good as a third-person shooter. Hopefully later this year with Forge mode, we’ll see new custom maps and modes start rolling out for Infinite.
